View of the ruins of the State Normal College in Albany taken shortly after it was destroyed by fire on Jan. 8, 1906. Typewritten caption on back of the piece reads, "New York State Normal College, Willet Street near Madison Avenue. Ogden and Wright, Architects. Cost, with ground, exclusive of furnishings, $146,000. Occupied May 1885. Destroyed by fire January 8, 1906."
